The students dining hall on board the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956). Each table is supplied with a large white jug and a smaller white carafe, salt and pepper, tomato ketchup and HP brown sauce. A framed print showing different types of merchant ship is on the bulkhead and the ships depicted include the Queen Elizabeth 2 (1969), France (1961) and Canberra (1961). A framed colour photograph of the Nevasa at sea is next to this print.
