A staged photograph of a family of Cabin class passengers embarking on the educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) at a quay in an unknown port.

A staged photograph of a family of Cabin class passengers embarking on the educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) at a quay in an unknown port. They are climbing the brow from the quay to a shell door and are accompanied by two baggage stewards. The ship's captain is standing at the top of the brow to welcome his passengers. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay and the photographer is on the quay looking aft and up showing the ship's side amidships. The family of three comprises a husband and wife and a teenage or early twenties daughter. The people in this scene are the same as the ones in negatives numbers P62161CT, P62162CT and P62345CT although the family has had a complete change of clothes and this is very similar to P62161CT.
