A lascar steward is leaning over to serve drinks to three cabin class passengers on board the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) while under way during cruise 56. The three attractive ladies are in swimwear and are relaxing on the port side of the forward sports deck just abaft lifeboat number 4. Two of them are sitting in deck chairs and one is sitting on a towel. The photographer is looking aft from near the ship's rail.
