A lascar steward is serving drinks to three cabin class passengers on board the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) while under way during cruise 56. The three attractive ladies are in swimwear and are standing near the ship's rail on the port side of the forward sports deck just abaft lifeboat number 4. Two of the women are holding their drinks while the third is taking her drink from the tray held by the steward. Their deck chairs and towel are in the foreground. The photographer is inboard looking aft and slightly to port towards the ship's rail. This is a staged photograph and negatives numbers P62356CT to P62361CT were taken on the same occasion.
