HMS 'Bellerophon', battleship
An only partly finished study of the battleship 'Bellerophon' seen from astern off the starboard quarter, presumably at moorings, with a derrick out to port. This ship was launched at Portsmouth Dockyard on 27 July 1907 and completed on 20 February 1909. She is shown here in the period 1914-16 after being fitted with redistributed searchlights on top of the bridge (she was the only ship in the fleet to have four searchlights above the bridge) and before the removal of her torpedo nets.
