She is riding high in the water and has not commenced loading. Her starboard anchor is suspended below the hawse. The photographer is looking aft and to port from near the seaward mooring dolphin. Alongside the north side of the finger pier in the background is the stern of the fully laden ore/oil carrier Armand Hammer (1967) which sailed later in the day.
