Stalls on the promenade deck during a fair on board the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) while under way at sea. The photographer is looking aft on the port side showing a treasure hunt stall in the foreground where the children are told to "hunt for the buried treasure 2½d per dig". The promenade deck is enclosed with striped canvas screens and national flags are hung along the screens. Bunting is hung from the deckhead, partially obscuring the sign for the Muster Station for the Franklin Dormitory.
