On board the Strick Line cargo liner Shahristan (1965) while alongside a quay in a British port. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay and the photographer is looking aft from the working platform high up the Stulcken mast. Cargo is lashed on deck on either side of number 3 hatch and a Bedford 4-wheeled lorry chassis has been lowered onto number 3 hatch cover. Both of the crane jibs in front of the superstructure have been raised and swung outboard.
