A starboard quarter view of the motor coaster Ricuna (1951) dried out on the grid at the Acorn Ship Repair Yard at Rochester, Kent

A starboard quarter view of the motor coaster Ricuna (1951) dried out on the grid at the Acorn Ship Repair Yard at Rochester, Kent. She is under repair and her rudder and propeller have been removed. Her name and the port of registry Mogadiscio have been freshly painted on the stern and Lubeck, her previous port of registry, is still on the transom of her lifeboat. Her previous name of Hildegard Knuppel can be seen on a lifebuoy. A man is leaning over the stern rail hauling up a pulley block and chain. The photographer is on the foreshore looking up at the stern and the top of her funnel and mast are out of the picture. Transparencies numbers P63213CT to P63237CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
