A very close view of the bulbous bow of the container ship ACT 2 (1969) being guided into position in the New Dry Dock at Tilbury. The ship is in ballast and her hull paintwork is in a poor condition. The photographer is on the leading-in girder very fine off the starboard bow of the ship and a dock worker on the girder is using hand signals to direct the positioning of the ship.
