A bow view of the container ship ACT 2 (1969) entering the New Dry Dock at Tilbury. The ship is in ballast and her hull paintwork is in a poor condition. The photographer is at the south end of the dock looking along the dock's length showing the leading-in girder very close to the bow of the ship. The harbour tug Plankton (1965) is off the starboard side of the ship. Transparencies numbers P63238CT to P63271CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
