A general view of merchant and naval shipping in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. In the dry docks on the left are the stern of a Federal Line cargo liner and a BP tanker. Alongside a jetty in the background is a Royal Navy fleet replenishment ship, either the Regent (1966) or the Resource (1966), and in the distance is a Royal Fleet Auxiliary large tanker of the 'Ol' class. In the centre and seen from ahead of her port beam is the steam tanker British Duchess (1958) and another BP tanker is on the right alongside the outermost jetty. Transparencies numbers PCT19761 to PCT19768 were taken on the same day.
