She is being permanently converted from a collier to a cable ship. The photographer is looking forward and to port from alongside the ship amidships showing the control cabin and the supporting gantires fitted above the deck. All of the cable laying deck fittings appear to be complete. Transparencies numbers P63554CT to P63558CT were taken on the same occasion.
