A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the oil tank barge Pronto (1967) under way in Blackwall Reach, River Thames. She has been lengthened by 22 feet between the forecastle and the wheelhouse. Her stern is out of the picture. She is heading downstream and is riding light in the water. The photographer is in the R & H Green & Silley Weir ship repair yard at Blackwall looking south showing Blackwall Wharf in the background with the Greenwich Royal Naval College and the spire of the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea beyond.
