Union (1756)

Scale 1:96. Plan shows the upper, main and lower decks, as fitted, of the 90 gun ship of the line Union (1756). This drawing shows the alterations on the deck with the vessel being converted into a hospital ship at Chatham Dockyard in 1788. The title of the plan is "Union of 90 guns as fitted for an Hospital Ship at Chatham 1788". A note on the plan states that the ship has been renamed Sussex since it was drawn. The paper the plan is drawn on is torn and very fragile.
