The photographer is on the starboard side of the towing deck of the tug abreast the towing hook looking aft showing two men standing by the aft tow bow. The running gog line can be seen attached to the manilla hawser. The tanker is seen from fine off her starboard quarter and the steam tug St. Denys (1929) is alongside her. The steam tug St. Mawes (1951) is pulling the ship's bow round to starboard. Transparencies numbers P63560CT to P63640CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
