The photographer is looking from the stern of the tug showing the tanker, which is seen from fine off her starboard quarter but her stern is out of the picture. She has the steam tug St. Denys (1929) alongside amidships and the steam tug St. Mawes (1951) connected to her bow to pull her round to starboard. Falmouth docks are in the background and the motor tanker British Robin (1960) is in No. 1 graving dock. Transparencies numbers P63560CT to P63640CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
