On board the motor tug St. Eval (1930) during the dry docking of the motor tanker North Earl (1956) in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. The photographer is looking aft from the centreline of the tug near the towing hook showing four men standing at the stern and one of them is using the capstan winch of the running gog attached to the manilla hawser which is connected to the stern of the tanker. The tanker is seen from very fine off her starboard quarter and is well into No. 4 graving dock. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary helicopter support ship Engadine (1966) is under refit in the adjoining No. 3 graving dock. Transparencies numbers P63560CT to P63640CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
