On board the motor tug St. Eval (1930) during the dry docking of the motor tanker North Earl (1956) in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. The photographer is on the towing deck looking over the stern while the tug is very close to the stern of the tanker. The running gog attached to the manilla hawser is bowsed down and two men are near the aft tow bow. The tanker is almost fully in No. 4 graving dock. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary helicopter support ship Engadine (1966) is under refit in the adjoining No. 3 graving dock. Transparencies numbers P63560CT to P63640CT inclusive were taken on the same day.
