On board the motor tug St. Eval (1930) during the dry docking of the motor tanker North Earl (1956) in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. The photographer is on the starboard side near the towing hook looking aft and to port over the port quarter showing the running gog attached to the manilla hawser connected to the tanker's starboard quarter. The ship is well into No. 4 graving dock and only her stern can be seen. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary helicopter support ship Engadine (1966) is under refit in the adjoining No. 3 graving dock.
