On board the motor tug St. Eval (1930) during the dry docking of the motor tanker North Earl (1956) in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. The photographer is on the towing deck looking aft showing two men bringing the lead wire of the manilla hawser onto the deck on completion of the job. The tanker, seen from dead astern, is completely inside No. 4 graving dock and the dock gate is in position.
