A port quarter view of the motor tanker North Earl (1956) in No. 4 graving dock at Falmouth, Cornwall. She is undergoing damage repairs and repainting. Her stern and forepart are out of the picture and the rail mounted crane No. 15 is working alongside her. The 0-4-0ST steam locomotive No. 6 can be seen on the dockside. This engine was built by Peckett & Sons in 1919 for the CWS soap works near Irlam and was bought by the Falmouth Docks & Engineering Co in 1968. It was taken out of service in 1986.
