An aerial view of Falmouth, Cornwall. The photographer is focussing on the dock area and he is just south of Cliff Road looking north. The BP steam tanker British Cavalier (1962) is alongside the Eastern Breakwater, unidentified bulk carriers are in numbers 2 and 3 graving docks, an unidentified tanker is in number 4 graving dock and another unidentified tanker is alongside the western repair quay. The bulker in No. 2 dock has six hatches open and the bulker in No. 3 dock has all nine hatches open. Trawlers and four Falmouth Towing Company tugs are alongside the finger jetties of the Western Breakwater. The Falmouth Hotel is in the left foreground.
