An aerial view of Falmouth, Cornwall. The photographer is focussing on the dock area and he is above Flushing looking south-east. The BP steam tanker British Cavalier (1962) is alongside the Eastern Breakwater, unidentified bulk carriers are in numbers 2 and 3 graving docks, an unidentified tanker is in number 4 graving dock and another unidentified tanker is alongside the western repair quay. The bulker in No. 2 dock has six hatches open and the bulker in No. 3 dock has all nine hatches open. Trawlers and four Falmouth Towing Company tugs are alongside the finger jetties of the Western Breakwater. The Inner Harbour is in foreground and St. Anthony Head and lighthouse are in the background.. Transparencies numbers P63719CT to P63729CT were taken on the same occasion.
