An aerial view of four cargo liners alongside Prince's Pier, Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. All four vessels are seen from off their port quarters. On the west side of the pier are the Federal Steam Navigation Company ships Hertford (1948) and Middlesex (1953). The hertford is nearest the seaward end of the pier. On the east side of the pier is the Houston Line cargo liner Clan Macdonald (1939) and berthed ahead of her is the United States Lines Pioneer Cove (1946).
