A port quarter view of the British India Steam Navigation Company passenger/cargo liner Uganda (1952) anchored at Dar-es-Salaam, Tanganyika. Both of her forward anchors are deployed and she is moored at the stern. She has a white hull, is dressed overall and she has an accommodation ladder rigged amidships but it is not lowered. The local harbour tug Simba (1951), seen from just abaft her starboard beam, is very close to the port side of the Uganda.
