A slightly distant bow view of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Zaida (1972) almost ready for launching from the Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Readhead shipyard at South Shields. The launch platform is structurally complete and chairs are being put out on the bandstand. A few of the scaffolding supports are still in position alongside the hull. The christening bottle and its bracket has not yet been fitted to the bow of the vessel. Transparencies P63941CT to P63943CT were taken on the same occasion.
