The photographer is looking across the open quayside showing the ship using her own cargo cranes and Stulcken derrick to work containers. A 20 feet container is being unloaded from number 3 hold by the Stulcken derrick, another has been lowered onto the quay by the midship tandem crane and a third is being lifted out of number four hold by the aft tandem cranes. The forepart of the ship forward of the Stulcken mast is out of the picture. She has a corn coloured hull and the P & O shadow logo is on her funnel.
