The ship is one of Strathmay (1970), Strathmeigle (1971) or Strathmore (1971). The photographer is on the port side of the bridge roof looking forward and slightly to starboard showing a 40 feet Strick Line/P & O container being discharged from number 2 hatch by the ship's forward tandem cranes. 20 feet containers are on the aft end of number four hatch and 40 feet containers are on number three hatch and the forward end of number four hatch.
