A close view of the starboard side of the forepart of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Stratharlick (1969) in the South West India Dock, London. She is berthed port side to Berth N and is loading a Port of London Authority steel lighter using her 150 ton Stulcken derrick. The photographer is looking across a number of lighters in the foreground and one of them contains a Redland Fibaflow pipe. The lift has commenced and the lighter's bow has been lifted clear of the water. The ship already has a deck cargo of two Redland Fibaflow pipes alongside number three hatch. In the background is the Dutch cargo liner Flintshire (1962) alongside Berth M. Transparencies numbers P64715CT to P64724CT were taken on the same occasion.
