On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Melita (1971) alongside a berth in Liverpool Docks. The ship is berthed port side to the quay. The photographer is on the starboard side of the deck looking forward showing three men guiding a hoist of four blue-painted steel drums of Arquad 2HT-75 dimethyl ammonium chloride into position alongside a number of similar drums on the deck, abreast the hold near the break of the forecastle. The drums are destined for Piraeus. Transparencies P64788CT, P64789CT and P64821CT to P64836CT were taken on the same occasion.
