On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathanna (1966) at Dubai. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is on the port bridge wing looking forward and slightly to starboard. Holds two and three are open and wooden-encased cable reels are being discharged from number two upper hold using the ship's own derricks. Two 20 feet containers, a Coles mobile crane, a York road trailer, a forklift truck, nine steel containers of an Octel product and stacks of dunnage are on deck either side of the hatch coamings. The York trailer was manufactured in Great Britain and is marked with the instruction "Don't lift with shackles". Stothert & Pitt cranes are on the quayside. A vertical format negative.
