A starboard midships side view of the cargo liner Nigaristan (1970) loading a Rolba 5 Mk II tracked trenching machine in the South West India Dock, London. The machine is on a wooden base and is being lifted by the ship's midship crane for stowage in number three hold. It is destined for Iran. Two men on the quayside are assisting with the lift. A tracked bulldozer with rear-mounted crane is on the quay waiting to be loaded. The photographer is on the quay looking aft and to port towards the ship's superstructure. The ship is in Strick Line livery. Transparencies numbers P64941CT to P64950CT and PCT1242 to PCT1244 were taken on the same occasion.
