On board the cargo liner Nigaristan (1970) in the South West India Dock, London, while loading a Rolba 5 Mk II tracked trenching machine. The machine is on a wooden base and is being lifted by the ship's starboard midship crane for stowage in number three hold. It is destined for Iran. The ship is in Strick Line livery. The photographer is on the starboard side of the deck abreast the aft end of number three hold looking forward and slightly to port showing the ship's midships and forward cranes.
