A port midship detail of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) working cargo in Tilbury Dock, Essex. The photographer is well back on the quayside looking forward and to starboard across the quay showing the back of the bridge structure, the funnel, the boat deck and the accommodation ladder of the ship. The Yale fork lift truck, P.L.A. fleet number 417, is in the foreground moving a pallet holding two tyred wheels. Beyond it is the Coles mobile crane DR242 by the side of Boden BRS trailer, registered MWE439D, loaded with wooden packing cases consigned to Ghandara Industries Ltd of Karachi.
