A party of British students boarding the passenger ferry Capernaum (Fl. 1964) at Capernaum on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, Israel. They are returning to Tiberias after visiting the ruins of Capernaum (the Town of Jesus). The boat is seen from wide off her port bow and only the bow is in the picture. The photographer and students are on a shore excursion from the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Dunera (1937) which is berthed in Haifa harbour. A duplicate transparency. Transparencies numbers PCT188 to PCT195 were taken on the same day.
