The Australian Trade Mission to South-West Asia display on board the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chandpara (1949) at Fremantle, Western Australia. The display was mounted in the tween decks and the ship sailed from Fremantle on 20 February 1962 for Karachi and 9 Persian Gulf ports. On 12 April 1962 she departed from Abadan for Australia having played host to over 11,500 visitors. A general view looking between two lines of displays. On the left is the open display of Massey-Ferguson (Australia) Limited with the display case of Felt & Textiles of Australia Limited beyond it. On the right is a case displaying products of Stramit Boards, Crommelin Chemicals, Australian Electric Co Ltd, Hadfields [W.A.] 1934 Ltd and the Department of Industrial Development.
