A port bow view of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chindwara (1950) alongside a wharf at Mombasa, Kenya. Her stem is just out of the picture. The Alpha class dinghy with sail number 119, seen from astern, is under sail close to the Chindwara. She is being sailed by two teenage boys who are sitting on the starboard side of the hull of the boat. Transparencies numbers PCT274 to PCT282 were taken on the same occasion.
