A close view of the port side of the fore part of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Bamora (1961) alongside a wharf at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the ship's foremast looking forward and slightly to starboard. A fork lift truck is in the foreground moving a pallet holding bags of Three Seas spray skim milk powder. Another similarly laden pallet has had slings attached ready for hoisting aboard ship. A pallet of cardboard cartons is being swung over the bulwark heading for number 1 hold. Track mounted 3 ton cranes are on the quayside spanning two railway lines with good trucks on them.
