A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathardle (1967) alongside a wharf in a Japanese port. The ship is berthed starboard side to the wharf and her bow and stern are out of the picture. She has an accommodation ladder rigged amidships. Lorries laden with cardboard boxes are on the quay, as are a large number of new Honda motor vehicles. Transparencies numbers PCT611 to PCT615 and PCT626 to PCT628 were taken on the same occasion.
