The photographer is close alongside the starboard quarter of the ship looking forward and up at the superstructure. A Brazilian courtesy flag is at the starboard yard of the signal mast. The ship's funnel has the P & O shadow logo on it. A vertical format image. The Kildare arrived at Vitoria on 30 June and berthed on the finger pier. On 3 July she was moved to the main terminal and sailed fully loaded on 4 July 1974. Transparencies numbers PCT692 to PCT791 were taken during the same stay in port.
