A close view of the signal mast and the crane abaft the port bridge wing from the port side close alongside the ore/bulk/oil carrier Kildare (1972) while in the iron ore loading port of Tubarao, Vitoria, Brazil. The photographer is on the finger jetty very close alongside the port quarter of the ship looking up and forward showing the signal mast. A Brazilian courtesy flag is at the starboard yard on the signal mast and the ship's funnel has the P & O shadow logo on it. The Kildare arrived at Vitoria on 30 June and berthed on the finger pier. On 3 July she was moved to the main terminal and sailed fully loaded on 4 July 1974. Transparencies numbers PCT692 to PCT791 were taken during the same stay in port.
