A slightly distant aerial port broadside view of the ore/bulk/oil carrier Irfon (1971) alongside the main terminal at the iron ore loading port of Tubarao, Vitoria, Brazil. The ship is loading at numbers 4 and 8 holds and is flying the Blue Ensign. The Irfon arrived in port at Vitoria on 6 July and berthed on the main terminal. She sailed fully loaded on 7 July 1974. The Greek bulk carrier Kyriakoula D. Lemos (1966) is alongside the south side of the finger pier in the foreground. On the north side of the finger pier the forepart of the bulk carrier Danita (1967) can be seen. The photographer is looking towards a low sun and the ship images are almost silhouette. Transparencies numbers PCT792 to PCT807 and PCT814 to PCT951 were taken during the same stay in port.
