A slightly distant aerial port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the ore/bulk/oil carrier Irfon (1971) alongside the main terminal at the iron ore loading port of Tubarao, Vitoria, Brazil. The ship is loading at numbers 4 and 8 holds and is flying the Blue Ensign. The Irfon arrived in port at Vitoria on 6 July and berthed on the main terminal. She sailed fully loaded on 7 July 1974. The forepart of the Greek bulk carrier Kyriakoula D. Lemos (1966) is alongside the south side of the finger pier in the foreground. She arrived 5 July and sailed 6 July. On the north side of the finger pier is the bow of the bulk carrier Danita (1967) that arrived and sailed on the same day. The photographer is looking towards a low sun. Transparencies numbers PCT792 to PCT807 and PCT814 to PCT951 were taken during the same stay in port.
