The title of the plan is "A Design for an iron cased ship, to be plated from end to end below the main deck". The plan bears the signature of Isaac Watts [Chief Constructor 1860-1863] and Joseph Large [Constructor 1861-1863]. The plan is torn on the left and right hand edges.
