A very close view of the bow of lifeboat number 1 in its davits on the starboard side of the Strick Line cargo liner Nigaristan (1970) which is berthed in a Japanese port. The photographer is looking aft showing the boat's number and the name on either side of the stem. The transparency was processed by Far East Laboratories Ltd in November 1974 and the card mount was made in the U.S.A. A vertical format image. Transparencies numbers PCT1280 to PCT1283 were taken on the same occasion.
