Two lighters are in the foreground and dockside cranes are working the ship. In the background is the stern of another P & O passenger/cargo liner, either the Strathnaver (1931) or the Strathaird (1932). Transparencies numbers PCT1349 to PCT1351 were taken on the same occasion.
