The general cargo ship Arawatta (1958) loading bales of wool at a wharf in Sydney, New South Wales. The ship is berthed port side to the quay. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the ship's mainmast looking to starboard and forward showing wool bales being swung aboard ready to lower into hold number four. The ship is using her own derricks to load the wool. A vertical format image. Transparencies numbers PCT1426 to PCT1436 were taken on the same occasion.
