Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan of a Unnamed 356ft 3 masted Armour Clad 36 gun steam screw frigate (1859). The title of the plan is "Construction Draught of a 36 gun screw frigate of 1000 Horse Power to be cased with 4 1/2 inch plate from the plan sheer, to 5 feet below the load waterline" The drawing bears the signature of R. Abethell [Master Shipwright Portsmouth Dockyard 1852-1862]. The words "Abethell Design for an Armour Clad 5.933 1 March '59" are written on the reverse. The plan is torn in various places.
