A starboard bow view of the severely damaged general cargo ship Baron Herries (1940) in dry dock at Falmouth. She is showing severe collision damage in way on number one hold. The damage extends from the upper deck down to the keel. In the background is a Federal Steam Navigation Company cargo liner of the Norfolk (1947) class. This is a monochrome transparency. The repairs were undertaken by Silley, Cox & Co. Ltd.
